Try this

Don't touch Gorgo's gold.

He's asleep on everything he owns, and he sleeps lightly. Go on, poke it.

Gorgo is a head, a body, a wing and a tail hung on seven bones, plus a spare face for when someone goes near his gold. Take him apart to see the pieces. The heroes, cows and octopus emperors in our other games are put together the same way.

The rig editor with Gorgo loaded: his seven bones listed on the left, the pivots drawn on top of him, and the keys of his nap animation on the timeline below
Where he gets his bones. Our rig editor, written for Dungeon Landlord and later borrowed by the other five games. That's Gorgo's nap on the timeline. Yes, our tools speak Portuguese.

Why an armadillo?

The tatu-bola is a Brazilian armadillo that can close itself into a complete ball, armor all around. It was also Fuleco, the mascot of the 2014 World Cup, so most Brazilians have an opinion about it.

We liked that it's small and stubborn, and that when things go wrong it rolls up into a ball and waits. Most of our launch plans look like that too.
